Forums are the place to develop a long term reputation. The most well known forum in the Internet marketing area is the Warrior forum. Other forums for Internet marketing include IM4newbies and Self Starters Weekly tips. You can search for forums in your niche in Google or any search engine by typing your keyword + forum.
The benefits of forums if used in the correct way are:
- Excellent source of free traffic.
- Can help to build reputation and brand awareness by providing good information.
- Forums are a great place to build relationships with other people in your niche.
- Forums are a place where you can learn from experts in your niche.
- You can also make money from forums by building a good reputation.
The correct way to use a forum is to:
- Interact with other forum members in your niche by sharing your expertise.
- Ask for advice and any questions that you have on something that you are interested in and answer other peoples questions if you know the answer to their problem.
- Can answer and contribute to other peoples posts by giving good value to the post.
- Share any achievements you have made such as overcoming an obstacle, achieving your goal such as having so many subscribers or making your first dollar online.
There are incorrect ways to use forums as well and forms are not the place to:
- Add affiliate links to. People are searching for information on forums rather to looking to make a purchase. Can add a link to your blog in the forum signature if allowed.
- Avoid creating posts to promote and to add links to your own stuff unless allowed to.
- Avoid writing posts that are just for getting traffic back to your site. It is not well received.
- Forums are not a place to start arguments.
- Above all, never lie on forums.
Best regards,

Hi Ian,
You are so right about Forums, I have not really got involved in them, been a bit slow in that direction, but I definitely have to get involved. It seems to be a critical part in Marketing.
Cheers
