A giveaway event is a membership site that enables people to download a collection of digital products for free, the only requirement is to enter your name and email. These products are often contributed by joint venture partners.

You can chose whether to join as a contributor where you can add a gift such as an ebook, audio or video, or you can sign up as a member. There is usually a one time offer available when you sign in and costs about $7-$47 which is purely optional, although can help to get your gifts ranked higher. A downsell is then offered, again optional and you can access your account at any time by choosing the take me to my account option.

Giveaway events are a technique that has been taught and used by my mentor, Dean Holland.

For people to opt in to these products, they must be of excellent value and provide useful information.

  1. Hey Ian

How are ya? not sure if I have been here before but great post mate.

I have been doing giveaways and got my list up to 400 and now I am doing adswaps. It is a long process to start with but you just have to stick with it.

I even made 17 bucks from an upsell so imagine what it will be like to have a list of 4000.

    speak soon

    Marcus

It’s amazing the great ideas you get when you look around other peoples blogs, which brings me to the signature thing.I have actually downloaded my own but for the life of me i don’t know how to get it on a post could you help me here.
Also noticed you have a snapshot of a webpage on another one of your posts ”main sources of traffic”how do you do that.
Ian i know there is no short answer to these questions but may be you could point me in the right direction.
    Thanks for a great blog

    Tom
